Equinox Jam Benefit Concert

Come Celebrate Spring at the Equinox Jam Benefit Concert 2026

Join Rochester Ecology partners as we exit the darkness of the past six months, and prepare for the upcoming warmth and renewal of spring!

The vernal or spring equinox is when the sun is exactly above the equator, which marks the beginning of spring in the northern hemisphere. Equinoxes are times when the length of days and nights are nearly equal at 12 hours each, and as the sun moves further north past the equator, the warm weather accompanying it will bring your favorite parts of spring! It is important to celebrate this yearly event as we look forward to nature blooming with flower buds on trees, baby animals, and warmer temperatures.

Equinox Jam is an annual music festival benefiting Rochester Ecology Partners, an organization focused on serving the people of Greater Rochester through nature-based learning and community cultivation.

When you celebrate the advent of spring with us at Equinox Jam, you:

  • Connect with other friends of Rochester Ecology Partners and support our efforts to help everyone find the joys of nature
