I
believe that a service like this
(providing a local online news archive)
provides people one of the best ways to
understand our local environment because
it provides a history of environmental
stories so that one can connect the dots
later on. All too often
environmental problems take a long time
to get our attention, but if we have a
chance to go back and see when they
first showed up and how they were
treated in the media, we can better understand how to
solve and catalogue environmental
problems in the future. |
